How to handle cataract on guinea pig?

Well, i had a guinea pig last year. My guinea pig was small. It has got brown and black color in whole its body. I forgot the name but just call it 'Lovely'.

One day, in the morning, i feed my Lovely. I saw her eyes. It looked muddy but i didn't think that there was something wrong with it so, i went back to my room. When my sister was playing with Lovely, she realized that Lovely had cataract. I was so panic at the time!! So, i tried to googling how to cure cataract on animal but i just found number of a vet. There wasn't any vet which can cure guinea pig here. So, i tried to use my treatment to Lovely.


- I buy some carrots in a market
- I cut a carrot into small pieces
- Then i gave it to my Lovely, she ate it!!
- Next day, i saw her eyes looks brighter! so, i gave it again but more often than before.
- Next day, my sister and i looked Lovely's eyes again and.... She had healed! :D perfect!


I never thought that carrot could cure cataract :) I thought that Lovely must had eyes surgery but actually she just had to eat carrot :D :D :D
